Honda Has Released The 2026 Passport Body Repair News

Honda has released a Body Repair News bulletin for the 2026 Passport. This document contains at-a-glance information for this model.

The 2026 Passport Series: Body Repair Information document gives an overview of repair considerations that may affect body repairs.

The 2026 Passport is available in seven trim packages, but the provided information applies to all.

One notable feature in the Body Construction And High Strength Steel Content area is the 1,500 MPa door ring and inner front lower rails.

Honda also includes the following:

  • Available colors
  • Acoustic foam and insulator locations
  • Front bumper beam removal and installation
  • Opening hood in Service Mode
  • Headliner removal and installation

The Driving Support area includes advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) available on the 2026 Passport and blind spot sensor repair considerations. Per the document:

  • "Similar to the 2023 series Pilot model, the conventional blind spot information (BSI) radar unit inspection procedure is not required. The system is capable of self-learning while the vehicle is being driven above certain speeds."
  • "If the original BSI radar unit is removed and reinstalled, you must do the Blind Spot Information (BSI) System Learning Value Reset."
  • "If you install a new BSI radar unit, the learning value reset is not required."
  • "Make sure to review the Precautions for Handling Bumper prior to any repairs and painting."

The Precautions For Handling Bumper document is found in vehicle-specific body repair manuals (BRM). Honda states that this is a summary and to always refer to the BRM for complete repair information.
