Repairer Driven News: 2019 Ford Ranger Unveiled

It’s auto show time and the highly anticipated Ford Ranger was shown off at the North American Auto Show. Some, but not all, details have been released on the Ranger. Repairer Driven News (RDN) published an article with some of the available details on the new midsize truck.

The article explains that the Ranger will be equipped with an aluminum hood, fenders, and tailgate. The roof, doors, bedsides, and bed are all steel. The frame will be constructed of high-strength steel. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) will be available on the Ranger with collision braking being standard on all versions. Available ADAS will be lane keep assist, lane departure warning, park assist, and blind spot monitoring.
