Collision Information Website Access: Mercedes-Benz

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Mercedes-Benz has several subscription options available. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to www.startekinfo.com
  2. You will need to register for an account, if you do not already have one
  3. To register, click New User (top right side of webpage)
  4. Click link in Registration row of table
  5. Read privacy settings, click Accept All (bottom right side of webpage)
  6. Click Registration (center of webpage)
  7. Select country or region in dropdown menu (center of webpage)
  8. Click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  9. Select vehicle type
    • option 1: Click Select under Mercedes-Benz AG
    • option 2: Click Select under Daimler Truck AG
    • option 3: Click Select under Mixed Workshop (Both)
  10. Click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  11. Fill out company details, click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  12. Enter user information, click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  13. Complete Summary step
    • Review information summary
    • Check box to accept Terms of Use
    • Check box to accept Data Privacy Policy
    • Click Send (bottom right of webpage)
  14. Open registration email from Mercedes-Benz, click Confirm E-Mail (center left side of email)
  15. Email Address Confirmed webpage opens
  16. Wait to receive email from Mercedes-Benz with username and password
  17. Go to www.startekinfo.com
  18. Click Login (upper right of webpage)
  19. In cookie agreement box, click Accept All (bottom right of webpage)
  20. Enter username, click Next
  21. Enter password, click Log On
  22. Click Modify Password (center left of webpage)
  23. Follow instructions on webpage and create new password
  24. Click Next (center of webpage)
  25. After password is accepted, click Continue (center left of webpage)
  26. Enter new password, click Log On
  27. Click Subscribe (top of webpage)
  28. Read disclaimer, click I Agree (bottom right of webpage)
  29. Select subscription, click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  30. Enter credit card information, click Continue (bottom right of webpage)
  31. Confirm information is correct, click Subscribe (right side of webpage)
