OEM Linking Pin: 2017 Chrysler Pacifica - Front Lower Rail Sectioning

As part of the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) OEM linking pin activity, we are helping to connect the collision repair industry to the vehicle makers. Recently we had a technical inquiry that asked for clarification on the front lower rail sectioning procedure on a 2017-2023 Chrysler Pacifica.

The procedure in the body repair manual states: "Right side shown, left side similar". However, when measuring on the left side (driver side), the cut line would go through a nutsert. We reached out to our contact at FCA/Stellantis for clarification. Per our contact at FCA/Stellantis: "Yes, you can adjust the cutline enough to allow room for the backer to avoid the nutsert."
