Repairer Driven News: 2021 Ford F-150
Repairer Driven News (RDN) released an article on the 2021 Ford F-150. The article focuses on the available hybrid powertrain known as PowerBoost. This system will give an estimated 700-mile driving range.
The article highlights the Active Drive Assist system, which allows the driver to remove their hands from the steering wheel and have the vehicle “drive”. This still requires the driver to watch the road and take over if needed.
The article also details the optional built-in generator. There are two versions. One will have 120 V outlets only, while the other will have 120 V and 240 V outlets. The outlets will be located in the passenger compartment as well as in the cargo area.
