I-CAR Just In Time: DOT 4 Brake Fluid

In this Just In Time video, Jason Hauboldt, I-CAR Senior Associate and Subject Matter Expert, explains DOT 4 Class 6 and Class 7 brake fluids and the importance of using vehicle-specific OEM service information to determine the proper brake fluid selection.

Understanding that DOT 4 brake fluids are not the same, and if the vehicle maker recommends DOT 4 Class 6 or Class 7, it must be refilled with that specific brake fluid.
