Why Can’t I Find Certain Vehicles In The OEM Calibration Requirements Search?

With 2018 nearing the end, the Repairability Technical Support (RTS) team is finishing up adding 2018 models to the OEM Calibration Requirements Search. However, if you have used this search since it has been launched you may have noticed a few missing models.

Since the 2016 model year, RTS has logged OEM linking pins for more than 150 models of vehicles. The linking pins are created for a number of reasons, including missing information, unclear information, or information that cannot be located. With an open question on a vehicle, we cannot complete and post the vehicle record to the website.

Just because you cannot find a specific model in the search, it does not mean there is no information on that vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems. Much, if not all, of the information you need may be available on the OEM repair information site, depending on what you are looking for. For example, if you are looking for calibration information for the blind spot detection sensors behind the rear bumper, all of the information might be available. We might be waiting for information on the forward-facing camera or a different unrelated system. As questions are answered, we update and post the new vehicles or information, sometimes daily. Check back often because information changes frequently.
