Repairer Driven News: 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV

Repairer Driven News (RDN) released an article on the 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV which discusses the materials used in the construction of the vehicle and other highlights of this all-new model from Genesis.

The GV80 uses mixed material for structural components including four types of steel and the extensive use of aluminum. In addition, the hood, doors, and liftgate are aluminum and boast a weight reduction of between 15-55 pounds each vs a steel part.

The vehicle will also include advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features that use artificial intelligence (AI), such as smart cruise control to control the vehicle and learn the driving characteristics of the driver, and driver attention alert to warn drivers if they are sleepy or inattentive.
