Great Designs In Steel 2026 Presentations Released

Great Designs In Steel (GDIS) 2026 covered multiple topics, many of which were presented by OEM engineers and tier 1 suppliers of body components.

2026 GDIS had a Design & Development Of A Bolt-On Front Crush Structure For Enhanced Platform Safety presentation from Rivian. This presentation discussed the design of a bolt-on crush cap that is significantly longer than many other crush caps, helping simplify common repairs.
