GM Repair Insights: Summer 2022

The summer edition of the General Motors (GM) Repair Insights magazine is now available.

The Summer 2022 edition of the General Motors (GM) Repair Insights magazine is now available. This issue highlights the 2023 all-electric Cadillac Lyriq. The Lyriq is powered by a 100 kWh lithium-ion battery. Two configurations are offered including a 500 hp AWD version.

GM details some of the features available on this model including LED lighting, the 33" curved dashboard display, and the available Super Cruise feature. Super Cruise is hands-free driver assistance technology compatible with 200,000 miles of roads. The system can activate turn signals and change lanes (under certain conditions).

Super Cruise as well as other equipped advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) may require calibration after a repair. The Lyriq is an electric vehicle, so it is important to always refer to the service manual for safety precautions and high-voltage disable procedures.
