Calibration Research Tips: Subaru Document Print Button

While searching for information on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on an OEM repair information site, you may come across unique calibration procedures or events. These events can vary by year and model, even within a particular make. As the RTS team has been researching these systems, we have been identifying these atypical circumstances. In order to help you better understand them, we are putting together a series of articles that help with the repair and calibration of ADAS. Let’s look at where to find the print button for documentation.

Often while researching ADAS on a certain vehicle, information and procedures need to be printed and saved for documentation. Subaru Service Diagnostics manuals have a print button located at the top of each manual.

When a procedure or document is opened that you want to print, click on the Print button across the top of the webpage. This allows you to print or save the whole procedure and not just the page that you see on your screen. When the print button is clicked, it gives you two options: Chapter or Subsection.

By selecting chapter, you are able to print the entire category of the manual. When subsection is selected, you are able to print only the procedure you have open. For example, a chapter in the manual that you can print is the EyeSight chapter with all of the subsections within it. A subsection of EyeSight that can be printed is EyeSight Assist Monitor, Removal.

It is important to always follow OEM procedures for repairs and calibration. Finding this information quickly and efficiently contributes to a complete, safe, and quality repair.
