Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Nissan/INFINITI?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, ""What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment?", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Nissan/INFINITI websites.

Go to either the Nissan website at www.nissan-techinfo.com or the INFINITI website at www.infiniti-techinfo.com. If you haven’t already, you will need to register for a username and password and then purchase a subscription. The Nissan/INFINITI websites require the use of Internet Explorer only.

After logging in, you will need to enter the year and model on the Search Publications page, then click Search. On this new page, click on the "Eye" icon (right-hand side of webpage).

Nissan/INFINITI has two formats for the service and body repair manuals (BRM), depending on the year of the vehicle.Nissan/INFINITI electronic service manual searchFigure 2The newer manuals will look like Figure 1 and older manuals will appear as Figure 2. Each version has many sub-categories to choose from. For example, you will be able to locate TPMS information under: Suspension - Road Wheels & Tires.

It is important to note that both versions also provide a keyword search option, see areas circled in red (Figure 1) and (Figure 2). Here you can simply type in a keyword, such as TPMS. The search results will provide all areas in which TPMS is referenced.
