Sectioning and Partial Part Replacement: 2018 Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet

Here you will find information on if these procedures are available on a specific vehicle. Let’s take a closer look at the 2018 Audi A5/S5 Cabriolet.

This will give you a good understanding on general areas for sectioning or partial replacement. I-CAR does not have permission to show exact locations for sectioning or the procedure itself. However, Audi has a paid subscription website with collision repair information.

The front lower rail and the front upper rail can be sectioned at a single location. OEM procedure(s) are available for partial part replacement on the front upper rail, and the front lower rail has a single location in which it can be partially replaced at factory seams. The rear rail has a single sectioning location available.

Multiple OEM sectioning locations are available for the outer uniside. Sectioning procedure(s) are also available for the uniside reinforcement and the inner uniside. The trunk floor and rear body panel have no OEM sectioning procedures available. The trunk floor has a single location for partial replacement at a factory seam.
