EVs involved in a collision may have broken, pinched, or other damage to high-voltage (HV) cabling which can be a hazard to a technician or occupant. Subject matter expert Joel Dufkis explains the proper use of an isolation meter for testing HV cables.

In another video, Joel Dufkis, explains why and how to use an arc flash helmet. The arc flash helmet should be part of your personal protective equipment (PPE) when repairing EVs.
