Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Maserati?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Maserati website.

Go to the Maserati website techinfo.maserati.com. If you haven’t already, you will need to purchase a subscription to view the service site.

Once you have logged on, click on the Technical Info button on the left-hand side the webpage, a new page will open. Click the Technical Documentation Online button in the middle of the webpage. After entering the last six digits of the VIN, choose Workshop Manual from the selection of tabs on the left-hand side of the new webpage (see Figure 1). Underneath the tabs is a button called Sections. With this link you will be able to view the contents of several categories of the workshop manual listed as links, including:

  • Maintenance and technical data
  • Safety components and standard provided (SRS)
  • Electrical systems and devices
  • Braking system

Electrical information is found under the Electric System tab, right next to the Workshop Manual tab. This includes wiring diagrams, and power and ground distribution information.

Moving one tab further to the right, you can also click the Diagnosis Help tab. This will provide a drop-down for various control modules and components. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information, diagnostic information, and module parameters can be found here.
