Tips for Navigating OEM Websites: Subaru

Subaru has changed the layout of their repair information website. You will notice that the site has a new look and improved navigation. Convenient new features make finding repair information easier. Let’s take a look at what has changed.

After logging into your Subaru paid subscription, you will notice a Quick Reference Search on the top right of the page. Here you can enter the VIN and then select what document you would like to view. For example, selecting Service Manual, will pull up the vehicle body repair manual. If you know the specific document number that you are looking for, you can also search for that on the home page. Subaru has kept the generic search Online Reference at the top of the page, which will let you search by model, year, and trim.

Another new feature is the ability to download the vehicle specific body repair manual in its entirety. Previously, you had to click back and forth between procedures. You can now scroll through one document to find the information you are looking for. There is also an option to save a specific manual to the Subaru homepage. This will enable you to go right to it when you log in again. The home page also has a list of recently viewed documents, so you can go right back into a manual that you recently viewed.

To help guide you through the navigation of Subaru’s new repair information site, RTS has updated the Step-By-Step: Accessing Subaru repair Information, Collision Information Website Access: Subaru articles and videos.
