Position statements are an important part of the repair process. They highlight specific information on areas such as, pre- and post-scanning, calibration, bumper cover repair, recycled parts, etc. These statements are sometimes used in conjunction with repair procedures, or they may update information found within repair procedures.
BMW provides their position statements (service bulletins) on their website. Access to them will require a paid subscription. To find position statements:
- Go to www.bmwtechinfo.com
- Log in or purchase a subscription
- Click Service Information (top left of webpage)
- Select Service Bulletins from dropdown
- A new window opens
- Use search bar (top of webpage) or search bar (right side of webpage)
- Type in name of document
- Click magnifying glass
