Collision Information Website Access: Honda/Acura

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Honda/Acura has several subscription options available. Please note that Honda ProFirst repair facilities have access to this information through the ProFirst network. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to techinfo.honda.com
  2. Click on Subscribe under ServiceExpress (top, center column on webpage)
  3. Click on the + symbol by Service Repair Information (ServiceExpress/SIS)
  4. Click on Honda, this will also give you access to Acura vehicle information
  5. Select which subscription you would like by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon located at the end of each subscription option (center of webpage)
  6. If you have previously set up a username and password, you will need to enter it in order to complete the subscription purchase
  7. If you have never signed up, you will need to create an account in order to complete the subscription purchase
  8. Click Buy Now to complete the purchase
  9. Enter billing information
  10. Click Continue to checkout
