Collision Information Website Access: Hyundai

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Hyundai has several subscription options available. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to www.hyundaitechinfo.com
  2. You will need to register for an account, if you do not already have one
  3. To register, click on Sign Up (bottom left-hand side of webpage)
  4. Complete the Create New Account page
  5. Click Create
  6. This will take you back to the Hyundai homepage
  7. Enter in your user id and password
  8. Click Sign In
  9. Select which subscription you would like
  10. Click Accept and Continue
  11. A separate window from Cybersource Corporation will pop up
  12. Complete the billing information
  13. Click Next
  14. Enter in your payment information
  15. Click Next
  16. Review your order
  17. Click Pay to complete the transaction (lower right-hand side of webpage)
