Collision Information Website Access: Tesla

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Tesla has several subscription options available. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to service.tesla.com
  2. Click on Service Subscriptions (top of webpage)
  3. Scroll down and click Sign Up Now (bottom of webpage)
  4. On the sign in page, click Create Account (center of page)
  5. Fill in your information and click Create Account (bottom of webpage)
  6. Click Purchase (top of webpage)
  7. Select your country and account type, then click Continue To Subscription
  8. Choose a subscription type, agree to Terms & Conditions, and click Continue
  9. Fill out billing address and click Continue To Payment
  10. Click Card (bottom of webpage)
  11. Enter your credit card information and click Place Order (bottom of webpage)
