Repairer Driven News: 2022 Ford Maverick Truck

Repairer Driven News (RDN) released an article on the Ford Maverick truck that is to go on sale fall of 2021. The truck comes standard as a hybrid but can be upgraded to a gasoline engine only powertrain.

The article discusses construction materials used in the unibody design, which is mostly steel, and highlights features and options of the truck including:

  • 110-volt 400-Watt outlets in the bed and cabin
  • 12-volt 20-amp prewired access points in the bed
  • Cargo management system
  • Bed lights

The truck is available in front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and will have collision braking as a standard feature. Ford Co-Pilot360 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite is an available option as well.
