Ford/Lincoln: Coronavirus Recommended Disinfection Procedure
Ford/Lincoln has released two documents in regard to disinfecting for protection against the Coronavirus.
Recommended Disinfection Procedure Summary , provides a detailed procedure for how to disinfect specific areas of a vehicle. It focuses on touchpoint areas, such as the steering wheel and gear selector. In addition, it provides recommendations on personal protection equipment (PPE), and protection for seating surfaces and floors.
Recommended Disinfection Products Commercial & Consumer, specifies which disinfecting products are and are not recommended, including types such as wipes and sprays. It also urges following the disinfectant manufacturer’s procedures, as they can vary by product.
