Sectioning And Partial Part Replacement: 2019 Subaru Ascent

Here you will find information on if these procedures are available on a specific vehicle. Let’s take a closer look at the 2019 Subaru Ascent.
The full OEM Partial Part Replacement Search page for the 2019 Subaru Ascent can be viewed on the I-CAR website. This will give you a good understanding on general areas for sectioning or partial replacement. I-CAR does not have permission to show exact locations for sectioning or the procedure itself. However, Subaru has a paid subscription website with collision repair information.
The front lower rail has OEM procedures for both sectioning and partial replacement at factory seams. The front upper rail has multiple partial part replacement procedures, but no sectioning procedure available. A single OEM procedure is available for partial replacement of the rear rail. The trunk floor has multiple locations where it can be replaced at factory seams, and a single sectioning location.
The outer uniside, uniside reinforcement, and inner uniside all have sectioning procedures available, according to the body repair manual. The outer quarter panel does not have a rolled hem flange. There are no OEM procedures available for sectioning or partially replacing the rear body panel, so full-part replacement is the only option.
