Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Mazda?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment?", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Mazda website.

Go to the Mazda website at www.mazdaserviceinfo.com. If you haven’t already, you will need to register for a username and password and then purchase a subscription.

Upon logging in, you will can either enter the VIN or the year and model. From here, Mazda offers several different search options. You can search either by:

  • Keyword Search tab (see Figure 1). Here is where you are able to do a specific keyword search, such as for the TPMS.
    • You are also able to review service information documents by expanding the SI Documents Added/Updated in the Last 90 Days sub-menu. Here you will find TSBs, Service Alerts, Recalls, etc.

  • Search by Customer Concern tab (see Figure 2). This section begins with selecting from the Category dropdown menu. You will then need to select from all four of the following areas to narrow down the search:
    • Sub-Category
    • Symptom
    • Sub-Symptom
    • Condition
  • View Content tab (see Figure 3). It will be in this section that you will be able to access the various Workshop Manuals, such as Restraints and for the i-ELOOP system.
