Repairer Driven News: 2019 Toyota RAV4

Repairer Driven News (RDN) published an article on the mixed-material 2019 Toyota RAV4 that outlines some new features that technicians may want to take note of. To help reduce weight, Toyota has used high-strength steal coupled with several light-weight aluminum parts, such as the hood, fenders, and the liftgate.

The 2019 Toyota RAV4 body will be 57 percent more rigid than the 2018 model with a lower center of gravity as well. In addition, more use of sound dampening materials has been used throughout the vehicle. Improvements to the front and rear cameras have also been made.
