Honda/Acura Keyword Search: Settings

Honda and Acura use keyword searches to find repair information on the Service Express website. These keywords allow you to efficiently get to the repair information you are researching. There are many options when personalizing a vehicle, but Honda and Acura make it easy with their model-specific “Personalized Settings Worksheet.” This document can be accessed with a subscription to the Service Express website and one keyword.

To search for this document, you first have to click the Service Info tab (top of webpage), then enter the year and model of the vehicle (upper left-hand corner of the website). Underneath the model and year dropdown, there is a keyword search box. Type “settings” into the search bar and click on the 3. Search button. There will be a year and model-specific “Personalized Settings” link for the vehicle you selected, click on the link.

The first page of this document has a chart at the top of the page that will show you what settings the vehicle comes with depending on trim level. Next, is a checklist of the customizable settings and the possible configurations, along with a description of each configuration.

On the second page, there are various checklists on how to use some of the features in the vehicle and how to calibrate/initialize certain systems in the vehicle. However, calibration of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) is going to be found in other service information, not on this worksheet. The third page is used to educate the customer on the personalized settings and ADAS functionality when delivering the vehicle.
