Collision Information Website Access: Nissan/INFINITI

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Nissan/INFINITI has several subscription options available. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to www.nissan-techinfo.com or www.infiniti-techinfo.com, purchasing a subscription at one website grants access to the other website. The subscription purchase process is the same for both.
  2. You will need to register for an account, if you do not already have one
  3. To register, click register beneath the Login Name and Password (left-hand side, towards the bottom of webpage)
  4. Complete the Customer Registration page
  5. Click Register (bottome center of webpage)
  6. Click click here to access your account
  7. Log in to your account
  8. Click Home (towards top, center of webpage)
  9. Click Purchase Subscription for Viewing Publication tab
  10. Click on which of the subscription options you would like to purchase (bottom right-hand side of page)
  11. Read through the End User License Agreement, select Accept or Decline, clicking Accept will allow you to proceed
  12. Review the subscription choice

  14. Review subscription in the Shopping Cart
  15. Click Checkout (lower right-hand side of webpage)
  16. Verify Shipping Address screen
  17. Click Total to proceed

Per Nissan/INFINITI: “To view manuals correctly you will need to use one of the latest versions of Adobe Reader 10.1.16, Adobe Reader 11.0.13 or Reader DC 15.09.20069 or higher. To get the latest version of Adobe Reader go to www.adobe.com. Must use Microsoft Internet Explorer to view manuals; do not use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, destination links do not work.”
