Collision Information Website Access: Audi

Why do I need a subscription to an OEM website if I have full subscription access to the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) portal? This is a question received on a regular basis through Ask I-CAR. Let’s take a look at why and how to purchase an OEM subscription.

With your RTS subscription, you gain access to a research department in your company for the hard to find information and on the information that needs clarification. While we can't send out vehicle maker repair procedures, (due to copyright laws) we can let you know if the information exists before you spend hours and money only to find out that the information does not exist.

Audi has several subscription options available. To purchase a subscription:

  1. Go to erwin.audiusa.com
  2. Click on My erWin (top right-hand side of webpage)
  3. Click on Registration to set up an account, if you do not already have one
  4. Complete registration process, make sure to read General Terms and Conditions of Use and check both boxes
  5. Click Register, a password will be emailed to you
  6. Login into your account, entering the new password that you received in your email
  7. You will need to complete Change Password by entering in the password that was sent by email and then create a new one
  8. Click on My erWin
  9. Click on Subscriptions
  10. Click on the blue dropdown arrows to select which subscription period you would like (top center of webpage)
  11. Click Place Order (top left-hand side of webpage)
  12. Check the I accept the GTB of erWin box
  13. Click Checkout (bottom left-hand side of webpage)
  14. Enter in payment information
  15. Click on Pay now (bottom right-hand side of webpage)

Per Audi: "Google Chrome and Microsoft EDGE may work if you modify the setting which allows the program to open the Adobe PDF outside of the browser window. Opening the document within the EDGE or Chrome browser may not allow you to click past the Caution and Warnings message."
