Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Mercedes-Benz?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment?", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Mercedes-Benz website.

Go to the www.startekinfo.com website. If you haven’t already, you need to register for a username and password and then purchase a subscription.

Once you have logged in and have either entered the VIN or manually selected via Chassis Mode, look in the Groups area on the page. Here is a category tree that has various sub-categories listed. For example:

  • 40 - Wheels, Chassis Alignment Checks - in this area is, among other procedures, information on the tire pressure monitor system (TPMS)
  • 88 - Detachable Flaps - this area includes procedures for removal and installation of the front and rear bumpers, as well as information on exterior mirrors.
