Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Honda/Acura?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment?", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Honda/Acura website.

Go to the www.techinfo.honda.com website. If you haven’t already, you will need to register for a username and password and then purchase a subscription.

Before logging in, you can click on any of the free helpful links under USA Resources. Here you can view:

  • Position Statements
  • Body Repair News
  • Tool and Equipment Information, etc.

Once you have logged in, you are able to click on any of the tabs across the top of the webpage. The Parts Info tab takes you to an online parts catalog. The Service Info tab allows you to view body repair manuals, and other various procedures and documents after selecting a model and year.

To help you in searching the service information, the Repairability Technical Support (RTS) team has created a Collision Repair News article series on the Honda/Acura Keyword Search.

You can also search by category using the Select Subject dropdown. After selecting a model, year, and subject, click Search. For example, supplemental restraints (SRS) information can be found by choosing the Symptom/Repair Info subject and then clicking on Driving Support & Restraints. The vehicle-specific owner's manual can also be found by selecting the Owners Manual subject.
