Sectioning And Partial Part Replacement: 2020 Toyota RAV4

Let's take a closer look at the 2020 Toyota RAV4.

The full OEM Partial Part Replacement Search page for the 2020 Toyota RAV4 can be viewed on the I-CAR website. This will give you a good understanding on areas for sectioning or partial replacement. I-CAR does not have permission to show exact locations for sectioning or the procedure itself. However, Toyota has a paid subscription website with collision repair information.

The front lower rails and the front upper rails have OEM procedures available for sectioning and partial part replacement at factory seams. There are multiple sectioning locations available for the outer uniside. Two of these procedures are for the outer quarter panel. The quarter panel on the 2020 RAV4 does not have a rolled hem flange. There are a few sectioning procedures available for the uniside reinforcements and the inner uniside. There are also full part replacement procedures at factory seams for several of the uniside reinforcements.

The trunk floor can be partially replaced at factory seams in multiple locations, using GMA plug welds for installation. A single partial part replacement procedure is available for the rear rails. There are no OEM sectioning or partial part replacement procedures available for the rear body panel. There is only a full-part replacement procedure available.
