I-CAR 2018 Nissan LEAF Technologies And Repair Considerations Course

The Nissan LEAF is among the increasing number of vehicles on the road with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). With this increase of technology, comes the need to learn about these systems. Let’s take a look at some of the areas that will be covered by the I-CAR Nissan LEAF Technologies and Repair Considerations course.

The LEAF has been changing since its release to the public in 2010. Today, the fully electric LEAF is equipped with several ADAS to ensure the safety of its occupants. This course will give you descriptions and functions of the advanced driver assistance systems that are found in this vehicle. Some examples of these are:

  • ProPILOT Assist – Nissan’s latest advanced technology is a hands-on driving assist technology designed to help drivers during long trips and the stop-and-go traffic of daily commutes. Assists in keeping a safe distance between you and the vehicle in front of you, and also incorporates Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Rear Cross-Traffic Alerts
  • Intelligent Cruise Control
  • Around View Monitor

These are just a few of the many systems and technologies used in the Nissan LEAF. This course also gives repair considerations for these systems, as well as considerations for the high-voltage system.
