Hyundai/Genesis Releases Bumper Cover Repairability Position Statements

Hyundai and Genesis released position statements about repairing bumpers with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) sensors.

As part of the I-CAR Repairability Technical Support (RTS) OEM linking pin activity, we are helping to connect the collision repair industry to the vehicle makers. We’ve had technical inquiries that asked about bumper cover repairs near ADAS sensors. Hyundai and Genesis released a position statement based on the OEM linking pin questions from the industry.
