The Repairability Technical Support (RTS) team has put together a series of videos highlighting each area of the RTS portal. These videos are designed to help educate you on the types of information you will find in each area. Let's take a look at the OEM Restraints System Part Replacement Search search page.

By clicking on the OEM Restraints System Part Replacement Search page, you are able to:

  • Search by year, make, and model
  • Find the vehicle makers mandatory replacement parts
  • Find the vehicle makers inspection criteria
  • Plus much more!

Follow these step-by-step instructions to search for a specific year/make/model:

  1. On the left menu click on the OEM Restraints System Part Replacement Search.
  2. Here you can see that make, model, and year have dropdown menus.
  3. To start the search, first select the make.
  4. Once you have selected the make, you can now select a model from the dropdown menu.
  5. Once you have selected the make, only vehicles for that make will be available for selection.
  6. Next, select the year and click on the search button under the make dropdown menu.
  7. On the result page click the blue text in the right-hand column.
  8. And this is where you can find which parts are inspected or replaced after an airbag deployment for the vehicle you selected.
