I-CAR Best Practice: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Collision Repair Diagnostics Process

Periodically, I-CAR Repairability Summits are held to bring together collision industry stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop collision repair processes and best practices for repair of late-model, collision damaged vehicles. In the I-CAR Repairability Summit the topic of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) collision repair diagnostics process was discussed.

This topic was chosen from feedback that was received from various sources and was a common area of that lacked documentation or clear understanding. At the conclusion of the I-CAR Repairability Summit a draft I-CAR Best Practice was created and was further vetted by the inter-industry to develop the I-CAR Best Practice: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Collision Repair Diagnostics Process.
