The summer edition of General Motors (GM) Repair Insights is now available.
The Summer 2026 edition of GM Repair Insights magazine features the 2026 Cadillac Optiq-V all-electric SUV.
The Optiq-V offers an E-REV that produces sounds to complement the acceleration. This trim level also features standard Brembo brakes and supports Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance. Trim-specific items may have their own repair considerations.
In the On Alert article, GM states: "General Motors has identified a concern that improper installation of rear radar modules can disable or impair Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA), Lane Change Alert (LCA), and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)."
This article identifies where the issues arise and provides tips for visually identifying improperly installed radar sensors mounted behind the rear bumper.
