Mazda, as with many other OEMs, has issued a pre- and post-repair scanning position statement. Let’s take a look at this position statement.
Mazda updated their Pre- And Post- Repair Diagnostic Scanning position statement and states:
- "Mazda North American Operations requires both pre- and post-repair scans to ensure vehicles are safely and accurately restored to proper working condition."
- "... it is essential that any vehicle involved in a collision undergo both a pre-repair and post-repair diagnostic scan with a genuine Mazda scan tool ..."
You can view additional Mazda Position Statements on the RTS website.
