GM Repair Insights: Fall 2021

A fall edition of the General Motors (GM) Repair Insights magazine is now available.

The Fall 2021 edition of General Motors (GM) Repair Insights magazine is now available. The issue highlights unique off-road features on the Hummer EV. These features complement its mind blowing 1,000 hp.

The off-road features of the Hummer EV include a 4-Wheel Steer system that offers 3 selectable settings. This offers diagonal movement and greater range of maneuverability. To aid in this, you'll have 18 different camera views to see real-time displays of the terrain including waterproof underbody views.

When repairing advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) on GM vehicles, such as the Hummer EV, GM recommends the use of their cameras and sensors. These cameras can operate in extreme temperature ranges and are tested to meet environmental durability standards. As always, ADAS components should be calibrated to assure proper functionality as part of a complete, safe, and quality repair.
