The Name Has Changed But The Legacy Remains

The Repairability Technical Support Portal continues to support some of the same great features that were originally on www.i-car.com, like collision repair news. That is why Collision Repair News is the new name for the articles that you came to know and love in the I-CAR Advantage.

So, what did we "tweak"? Well, the majority of the new articles in Collision Repair News are shorter, but they are also more frequently published (multiple articles per week). We've also taken some I-CAR Advantage articles and updated them and/or created a series of smaller articles like the boron-alloyed steel series.

The legacy remains because not all of the articles are new. If you go back, you will see that we have republished some of the more recent Advantage articles, such as: General Motors Overlap Sectioning Joint, and Bonding And Rivet Bonding Technology On Steel BMW Vehicle Parts.

Also, due to its popularity, we have republished the December 4, 2007 edition of the I-CAR Advantage article: Update: Are General Sectioning Guidelines Still Applicable?.

Is there a specific Advantage Article that you would like to see here, or is there an article that you would like to see updated? Let us know. Just email us.
