I-CAR Honda HR-V 2022 Electromechanical Repair And Collision Repair Course
I-CAR has developed courses that overview several features on the 2022 Honda HR-V, as well as repairability.
The collision repair course goes into a vehicle overview on the 2022 HR-V and trim levels, as well as information on:
- OEM-specific terms for vehicle parts
- Honda position statements
- Special tools for repairs
- Construction materials
- Joining techniques
You can also learn about what repair procedures can be performed on different areas of the body, including overviews on different sectioning procedures.
There are detailed videos on how to remove parts, like the front and rear bumper covers, and how to de-trim a door.
You will even learn about refinish considerations for replacement parts.
The electromechanical repair course goes into detail about the 2022 Honda HR-V advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), as well as information on:
- Steering and suspension
- Tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Wheel alignment considerations
- Brake system
You will learn in depth about Honda static and dynamic calibrations, as well as videos on how to perform calibrations on different inputs (cameras/sensors) on the vehicle.
The course also details special tools required for ADAS calibrations and highlights what operations might require you to perform calibrations following the repairs.
Understanding what the vehicle is equipped with and what the vehicle is made of is important when it comes to performing repairs. Always follow OEM procedures to ensure a complete, safe, and quality repair.
