Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Subaru?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Subaru website.

Go to the Subaru website at techinfo.subaru.com. If you haven't already, you will need to register for a username and password and then purchase a subscription. To find the body repair manual, you click on the Online Reference tab and begin your search for information. However, when looking for other types of information, you click on Service Diagnostics. This reveals a year range of models where you select a specific model that takes you to a new menu page. This page has several different search options and quick search features. For example, if you need to find which SRS parts need to be inspected after a collision, you click on Airbag System & Seat Belt System. This takes you to submenus for the different parts of the airbag system, one of which is the Inspection Locations after a Collision.
