Where Do I Find Other Types Of Information In Genesis?

Navigating OEM websites can be challenging when searching for collision repair procedures, especially as no two OEM websites are alike. What happens when you need to find other types of repair information, such as, "What needs to be inspected after a supplemental restraints system (SRS) deployment", or "Does the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) require a scan tool or specialty tool?" Let's take a closer look at the Genesis website.

Go to the Genesis website at www.genesistechinfo.com. If you haven’t already, you will need to purchase a subscription to view the service site.

Once you have logged on, click on the Service Information button at the top of the webpage. With this link you will be able to view the contents of several categories listed as links, including:

  • Technical service bulletins (TSB)
  • Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC)
  • Shop manual (service manual)
  • Accessory Info

You can also click the links for Diagnostic Tools and Tools & Equipment at the top of the page to find Genesis recommended equipment and scan tools needed for carrying out procedures. Under the diagnostic tools link you can view upgrades and software information about your scan tool.
