2015-16 RAM 1500 Modifications

They may look the same on the outside, but they’re not on the inside. Did you know that in 2015, RAM updated the 1500 (DS) with modifications, reinforcement additions, and structural adhesive to improve collision impact performance?
Crew cab and quad cab RAM 1500s built after 6/15/15 have:
- a modified upper rail (sectioning options still apply).
- structural adhesive in the rocker panel, floor, and A-pillar areas.
- an additional A-pillar reinforcement bracket.
- an additional underbody hold-down reinforcement.
- an additional rocker panel-to-floor reinforcement bracket.
- an additional rocker panel reinforcement (do not section).
A more detailed look at these changes can be found at www.techauthority.com in the RAM 1500 (DS) body repair manual under the Collision Info tab in the Structural Modifications document .
