DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
Inactivate the vehicle: In the Car mode menu, click on "Turn off" on the screen.Wait for 5 minutes to continue working
Remove the negative terminal from the battery

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
During the repair of an accident damaged vehicle, Volvo's procedure is to replace the systems that may have been damaged and which therefore do not guarantee complete function.Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored.
Replace all pyrotechnic components that have deployed and/or give a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
Replace all seat belts and seat belt pretensioners that give a diagnostic trouble code, including height adjusters, end anchors and quick release.
When replacing seat belts that have been involved in an accident, cut the seat belt off to prevent reuse.
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
In case of no detonation, disconnect the detonation box from the battery and wait 20 minutes. Meanwhile, watch the pyrotechnic component so that no one enters the detonation area.After 20 minutes, check that the connectors at the detonation equipment and at the pyrotechnic component are correctly connected. If necessary, adjust these connections.
Repeat detonation according to the regular method. With continued loss of function, disconnect the battery. Wait another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, watch the pyrotechnic component and that no one is in the disposal area. Then disconnect the connection at the pyrotechnic component. Remove the pyrotechnic component from the tire pile. Send the pyrotechnic component for disposal.
