DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
1. Switch the ignition off2. Disconnect the negative battery cable
3. Wait for 1 minute or more

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
• Deployed airbags: [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL; AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL; AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT BACK; AIRBAG,ROOF; MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]• After a side air bag has operated (deployed), always replace both the front seat side airbag assembly and the seat back (pad, frame, trim) with new parts [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT BACK]
• Once the air bags, pretensioner seat belts and lap pre-tensioner seat belts have operated (deployed) due to a collision or other causes, the center airbag sensor assembly must be replaced [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
Once the air bags, pre-tensioner seat belts and lap pre-tensioner seat belts have operated (deployed) due to a collision or other causes, the front airbag sensor must be replaced [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT]
Once the air bag has operated (deployed) due to a collision or other causes, the side air bag sensor (for center pillar) must be replaced with a new one [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
Once the air bag has operated (deployed) due to a collision or other causes, the side air bag sensor (for front door) must be replaced with a new one [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRT DOOR]
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
Always use the on-board diagnostic function to diagnose the lap pretensioner seat belt for malfunctions.• Before reusing a live (undeployed) air bag inflator, pre-tensioner seat belt or a lap pre-tensioner seat belt, always use the on-board diagnostic to diagnose the air bag inflator, pre-tensioner seat belt or a lap pre-tensioner seat belt to verify that they have no malfunction.
• If a problem is found in the air bag wiring harness, always replace the wiring harness with a new one.
• Always replace the seat belt once the load limiter operates.
