DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

1. Check that the power switch is off
2. Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal
3. Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

When any of the airbags have deployed, replace the related airbag sensor and inspect its normal operation [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL; MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]

• Steering Pad [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Front passenger airbag assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Front seat airbag assembly [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly [AIRBAG,ROOF]

When airbags are deployed in an accident, the No. 1 wiring circuit breaker assembly activates to cut the EV battery connector power. Also, replace the No. 1 wiring circuit breaker assembly behind the navigation unit.

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

Always confirm DTCs before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal

• Horn button
• Instrument panel passenger airbag
• Curtain shield airbag
• Front seat airbag
• Front seat outer belt
• No. 1 wiring circuit breaker
• Center airbag sensor assembly
• Front airbag sensor
• Side airbag sensor
• Rear airbag sensor
• Seat position airbag sensor
• Occupant detection ECU

When airbags are deployed in an accident, the No. 1 wiring circuit breaker assembly activates to cut the EV battery connector power. Also, replace the No. 1 wiring circuit breaker assembly behind the navigation unit.

Replace the faulty parts of the seat belt systems (outer belt, inner belt, bolts, nuts, adjustable shoulder anchor, tether anchor hardware and other related parts). When inspecting a vehicle that was in a collision, be sure to check all of the seat belt systems regardless of whether or not the system was activated in the collision. Replace any damaged or malfunctioning systems
