DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)

Always confirm DTCs before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal

CAUTION: SRS airbag service work can only be performed AFTER:

1. Turn engine switch OFF and remove key.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT

When any of the airbags have deployed due to the collision, be sure to replace all sensors in the damaged areas [AIRBAG SENSOR,FRT BMPR; AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR; AIRBAG SENSOR,INTERIOR; MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]

• Steering wheel mounted airbag [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Front passenger airbag assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Front seat side airbag assembly [AIRBAG,FRONT SEAT] [If Deployed] If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, front seatback cover and
front seat frame with adjuster assembly with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.
• Curtain shield airbag assembly [AIRBAG,ROOF]

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED

• Spiral cable
• Steering Pad
• Steering wheel
• Instrument panel
• Instrument panel reinforcement
• Seat position sensor
• Occupant classification ECU
• Seat and seat mounting points
• Seatbelts and seatbelt mounting points
• Front pillar garnish
• Roof headlining
• SRS wire harness or connector
• Non• Deployed Airbag Assys
• Front Airbag Sensor
• Seat Position Sensor
• Occupant Classification ECU
• Door side airbag sensor
• Side Airbag Sensor
• Rear Airbag Sensor
• If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, front seatback cover and front seat frame with adjuster assembly with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage
• If any of the SRS parts are dropped, or if any cracks, dents or other defects are found, replace them with new parts
