DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF2. Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable is from the battery
3. Wait at least 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
With a front airbag deployment:• Steering Pad, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL], if deployed
• Driver side knee airbag assembly [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER], if deployed
• Front passenger airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL], if deployed
• Center airbag sensor assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Front airbag sensor on the impacted side [AIRBAG SENSOR,FENDER]
With a side airbag deployment:
• If the side airbag was deployed, replace the front seat assembly with a new one [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Center airbag sensor assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Side airbag sensor on the impacted side [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
With a side curtain airbag deployment:
• Curtain shield airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,ROOF], if deployed
• Center airbag sensor assembly, [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Side airbag sensor on the impacted side [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
• Rear airbag sensor on the impacted side [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Any damaged restraint system part
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
Perform a diagnostic system checkIf any of these parts have been dropped, or a defect is found (e.g. cracks, dents or any other defects) in any of the housings, brackets or connectors, then replace the part with a new one:
• Steering Pad, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL]
• Front Passenger Airbag Assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Driver Side Knee Airbag Assembly [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Front Seat Side Airbag Assembly [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Center Airbag Sensor Assembly [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Front Airbag Sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,FENDER]
• Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly
• Seat Position Sensor
• Occupant Classification ECU
• Side Airbag Sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE]
• Rear Airbag Sensor [AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Front Seat Outer Belt Assembly
Additionally inspect the:
• Steering wheel
• Instrument panel or Instrument panel reinforcement
• Front pillar garnish and Headliner
Occupant Classification precaution:
• Perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check
• Check the flatness of the body side that is equipped with the passenger seat
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check
