DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
Before using an electric welder on the vehicle, remove any SRS parts around the area being repaired.1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK and remove key.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
• To 08/2009: When the SRS parts are deployed (including when only an airbag or pretensioner is deployed) due to a collision, be sure to replace all sensors (center airbag sensor assembly, front airbag sensor,side airbag sensor and rear airbag sensor) as a set. [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL; AIRBAG SENSOR,FRONT; AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE; AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• From 08/2009: When the SRS parts are deployed (including when only an airbag or pretensioner is deployed) due to a collision, be sure to replace all sensors in the damaged areas (anywhere in need of repair) and
center airbag sensor assembly

Deployed airbags:
• Steering wheel pad [AIRBAG, STEERING WHEEL]
• Front passenger airbag assembly [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL]
• Driver side knee airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Front passenger side knee airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,KNEE BOLSTER]
• Front seat airbag assembly, [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT]
• Curtain shield airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,ROOF]
• Rear seat side airbag [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,RR]

PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
Even in the case of a minor collision when the SRS does not deploy inspect the following. If a defect is found (e.g. cracks, dents or any other defects) in any of the housings, brackets or connectors, then replace the part with a new one:• Spiral cable [CLOCK SPRING]

• Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly
• Seat Position Sensor
• Occupant Classification ECU
• Occupant Classification system
