DISABLE PROCEDURE AND TIME (Always Check Service Manual)
When troubleshooting the SRS, always inspect DTCs before disconnecting the battery.1. Turn ignition switch to OFF and remove key.
2. Disconnect and isolate negative battery cable.
3. Wait at least 90 seconds.

PARTS THAT MUST BE REPLACED FOLLOWING A DEPLOYMENT
With a front airbag deployment:• Steering wheel mounted Airbag, [AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL], if deployed
• Front passenger airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,INSTRUMENT PNL], if deployed
• Center airbag sensor assembly, [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Front airbag sensor in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair) [AIRBAG SENSOR,FENDER]
With a side airbag deployment:
• Front seat airbag assembly, [AIRBAG & SEAT ASSY,FRT], if deployed
• Center airbag sensor assembly, [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Side airbag sensor in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair) [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE and/or AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
With a side curtain airbag deployment:
• Curtain shield airbag assembly, [AIRBAG,ROOF], if deployed
• Center airbag sensor assembly, [MODULE,AIRBAG CONTROL]
• Side airbag sensor in the damaged area (anywhere in need of repair) [AIRBAG SENSOR,SIDE and/or AIRBAG SENSOR,QTR PANEL]
• Any damaged restraint system part
PARTS THAT MUST BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IF DAMAGED
• steering pad• front passenger airbag assembly • front seat airbag assembly
• curtain shield airbag assembly
• center airbag sensor assembly
• front airbag sensor
• side airbag sensor
• rear airbag sensor
• front seat outer belt assembly
• SRS wire harness or connector
• Visually inspect and Replace any airbag sensor in undamaged areas that have registered a major collision or exhibit external damage
Additionally inspect the:
• Steering wheel
• Instrument panel or Instrument panel reinforcement
• Front pillar garnish and Headliner
Occupant Classification precaution:
• Perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check
• Check the flatness of the body side that is equipped with the passenger seat
• Any restraint system part or wiring identified by diagnostic check
